Catering with Chef Jimmy!
Chef Jimmy has always had a passion for cooking and has been experimenting with food in his family's kitchen since he was eight years old. Since then, he has attended culinary school at Kapiolani Community College, earning degrees in both culinary arts and patisserie. After graduating, he took his skills to Chicago working as a Sous Chef opening Aria restaurant within the Fairmont Hotel Chicago. There he created the "potatoes of the day" menu that is still a favorite with diners today.
Next, Chef Jimmy started The Resident Chef, a top tier personal chef service that featured healthful meals that suited the client's tastes and dietary considerations.
And nowadays?
Chef Jimmy heads our kitchen and puts his own unique spin on dishes from many of our island cultures making sure it has plenty of local flavor! Our Chicken Long Rice uses the same recipe like your own grandma's, but like all local food, it has been Marujyu-fied to make it our own. Chef Jimmy is always in the kitchen creating new dishes like Salmon Casserole so check out our catering menus you won't believe your eyes!
